A Date with a Masterpiece

The Golden Drum international festival of creativity, in cooperation with the Slovenian Tourist Board, has invited young creatives aged up to 30 years to take part in the Young Drummers Competition for the best and most creative poster or series of posters on the theme Date with a masterpiece.

The creative challenge of the competition was to design an innovative and inspiring visual invitation to a date with a masterpiece, which would arouse the interest of the international public in discovering the Slovenian culture and art.

More than 50 works were submitted to the competition. For the exhibition at the National Gallery of Slovenia, we have selected 23 projects or individual works that represent the art works from our permanent collection or are inspired by the extraordinary ambience of the National Gallery of Slovenia. The selected posters are a fresh and youthful take on presenting the art from the past periods.
