Gal's Chest and Discovery of Art Treasures
Children and parents are invited to independently search for works of art with the help of Gal's Green Chest or printed details of exhibited paintings. For completed tasks and finished colouring pages children receive Gal's present. In the Entrance Hall you can piece together enlarged reproductions of selected paintings.

Ivana's Painting Workshop
Exploration of the gallery and a workshop for children and families. Children are invited to participate in a workshop. The paintings by Ivana Kobilca in the permanent collection will serve as inspiration. We will introduce children's Saturday workshops for December, dedicated to Ivana Kobilca.

Faces and landscapes of Prešeren's time
Curator Ferdinand Šerbelj will dedicate his public tour of the permanent collection to Prešeren's time.
16.30, permanent collection Art in Slovenia
Revelations: Portraits of children by Pavel Künl
Curator Krisitina Preininger will introduce the painter Pavel Künl and some of his lesser known and unusual portraits of children from the mid 19th century.
