Children's birthday parties and December workshops for children and families, while adults are invited to view movie trailers in the Entrance Hall. Information and brochures are available at the info point.
10.00-18.00, the Permanent Collection of the National Gallery of Slovenia
Gal's Chest and Discovery of Art Treasures
Children and parents are invited to independently search for works of art with the help of Gal's Green Chest or printed details of exhibited paintings. For completed tasks and finished colouring pages children receive Gal's present. In the Entrance Hall you can piece together enlarged reproductions of selected paintings.

Ancient texts written with a painter's brush
Curator Ferdinand Šerbelj, PhD, presents the paintings by Franc Kavčič in the permanent collection.
15.00-18.00, the Temporary Exhibition Hall and the Entrance Hall
Awakening all senses
A discovery tour and a workshop for children and families. Children are invited to partake in the workshop. After seeing the temporary exhibition, pictures by the Pre-Raphaelites will serve as our inspiration. Guided tours at 15.00, 16.00 and 17.00.

Presenting a tactile picture with Alen Kobilica
The permanent collection has been augmented with a tactile adaptation of Mihael Stroj's Luiza Pesjak for blind and visually impaired visitors.

Sculptures from the Government Collection
Curator Mateja Breščak, MA, presents some of the most interesting sculptures from the Government Collection as a prelude to the exhibition in March 2015.
19.00-21.00, the Permanent Collection of the National Gallery of Slovenia
Mini-Mono-Drama
Art project in co-production between Academy for Theatre, Radio, Film and Television and the National Gallery of Slovenia. Ten students of the Academy, under the mentorship of Professor Žanina Mirčevska, MA, wrote short monodramas inspired by motifs from the Permanent Collection. The monodramas have been written by: Žan Žveplan, Anja Rošker, Tamara Babić, Katarina Košir, Kristina Mihelj, Pia Vatovec, Simona Pinter, Ana Obreza, Sandi Jesenik and Iza Strehar.
Free entrance from 10.00 to 22.00.
