Within the subject curriculum of Costume Design
second-year students of Stage Acting and Theatre Directing at the Academy of
Theatre, Radio, Film and Television University of Ljubljana (UL AGRFT) took on
the task of interpreting celebrated works of art from the world and native
patrimony under the mentorship of Professor Janja Korun and assistant Tina
Kolenik, MA.
In summer terms of the years 2013–2018 they dedicated
their endeavours to six works of art: Las
Meninas: the dialogue between Velázquez and Picasso (2013), The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicoales Tulp(2014), Les Demoiselles d'Avignon(2015), Dance of Death (2016), The Last Supper – diptych (2017), and Woman Drinking Coffee (2018).
